About the Book

"Full of twists and turns made in Tom Clancy style"

He traveled from the rugged mountains and vast deserts of Iran to wreak vengeance on America. This time it's personal.

Zarrabian's attack on the Golden Gate Bridge quickly deepens into a mystery as FBI agent McCaig realizes he knows Zarrabian, a respected Colonel in the Iranian Army who once saved McCaig's life. When McCaig tries to dig deeper, he and famed television reporter Christine Garret quickly find themselves thrown together and on the run as the case unravels into layers of deception and treason. As they race to stop more terrorist attacks, Zarrabian forces them to face the blurry lines between terrorism, war, patriotism, and treason. Who is the terrorist ... and who is the hero?

"A story Vince Flynn or Robert Ludlum might have written: terrific debut for this natural action-adventure novelist."

"This isn't your average terrorist-kills-a-bunch-of-people book. It keeps you guessing and re-guessing from the beginning all the way through to the end."

"C.A. James hit this one out of the park ... I highly recommend this novel."

"I was unable to put it down ... so many twists and turns that keep you guessing, you constantly want to find out what could possibly happen next. It is story-telling at its best."

"Never a dull moment ... twists/turns and a great set of unique characters."

"[This] is going to be picked up by Hollywood very soon."

About the Author: James started his professional career as a college dropout at the age of seventeen. Four years as a sailing instructor, boat builder, machinist, and carpenter taught him the value of craftsmanship, the satisfaction that comes from quality work, and what it means to have real responsibilities. He also figured out that laboring in the hot sun can make college seem quite attractive. Born and raised in California, James graduated from UC Davis with a degree in electrical engineering, and some years later earned his master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, thanks to a fellowship from Hewlett Packard Laboratories. It was while at Stanford studying artificial intelligence that James got his first inspiration to write a book. Family and work took precedence for the next few decades, but in 2010 James' first book, "The Religion Virus: Why We Believe in God," was published by O-Books of London. With the publication of "The Religion Virus," James became a blogger and wrote over five hundred articles about religion, morality, politics and related topics. "The Zarrabian Incident" is James' first work of fiction. In addition to his writing, James is an accomplished amateur guitarist, a tolerable clarinet player, a deep-sea sailor, and the father of three. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and bicycling with his wife in the beautiful mountains of Southern California.
