About the Book

Content is as per the latest syllabus of GATE (CE) 2016. The book acts as a complete reference covering fundamental aspects of theory before proceeding to relevant questions. Though the book presumes basic understanding of fundamental concepts in Civil engineering, theoretical and numerical concepts in the book are meticulously designed to enhance knowledge and offer valuable insights into critical aspects of the chapters. The book is structured in an easy to read format with theory and solved examples designed to demonstrate the diversity of applications. The book is divided into various sections and sub-sections offering content that is self-sufficient and requires little to no cross-referencing. Each chapter in the book is important to upgrade the level of preparation, and competency level can be checked through MCQ section. Contrary to other texts available in the market, attempts are made to keep multiple choice questions qualitative rather than quantitative with an aim to enable students spend extra time to understand the approach to be followed. Further, solutions to previously asked GATE questions on the subject adds extra bit of understanding on the expected nature of questions.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
