Wie gehen Sie mit neuen Formen von Fernsehen um? Die folgenden Ausführen sollen auch helfen, Entscheidungsgrundlagen bezüglich einer Vielzahl aktueller Potentiale rund um die Ware Reiseinformation zu geben. Gang der Untersuchung: Neben der Definition einiger für die wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung wichtiger Begriffe, werden aktuelle Entwicklungen und Trends in den Bereichen Video, Web und Reise untersucht. Darauf werden denkbare Potentiale zum Thema Video im Zusammenhang mit der Darstellung von Reisen, und im Speziellen vermarktbarer Reisedienstleistungen evaluiert. Insbesondere Innovations- und Differenzierungspotentiale für Unternehmen die mit oder durch Reiseinformationen Geld verdienen, sind hier von Interesse. Daraus leitet sich ein Konzept ab, welches vor allem die Möglichkeiten des noch jungen Bereiches Web-TV mit einbezieht. Abschließend werden mithilfe eines Konzepttests die Erfolgschancen des Konzepts anhand einer Online-Umfrage, welche das Erarbeitete einer ausgewählten Pilotgruppe vorstellt, reflektiert.
