Romana: The most powerful vampire on earth. The last vampire that was Born, not
Made. She is the last of the Abominations. Hunted for centuries by the Clans for what she
is. Finding herself in the Twenty First century, she feels alone, and seeks a companion.
Gerald: The leader of the vampires who hunt Romana. He is an English gentleman
from centuries past, and has always pursued her at the Clan's orders. But he also has his
own agenda regarding her.
Duvall: A brilliant scientist with an ingenious mind trapped in a body that is
deteriorating from a degenerative spinal condition. He has captured vampires and
experimented with their blood, seeking to find in it the immortality he craves. He also
wants to use it to create immortal soldiers that he will arm with his advanced weapons.
Romana would be the perfect specimen for his experiments.
Karl: The leader of the Clans; groups of vampires who have come together for mutual
protection. He is a brutish remnant of the Germanic tribes who defied the Roman
Empire. He too seeks to capture Romana and to take Duvall's weapons for himself. Or
does he?
Erik: Drummer for industrial rock band Maschinekult. He is the human that Romana
chooses for her mortal companion. In her he will discover the true meaning of love.
Sergei: One of Erik's friends. Once he was an operative of Spetsnaz, now he uses his
contacts to provide Erik with his unusual collection. He too will learn a lesson in Love.
Valeria: One of Gerald's hunters, she is beautiful and deadly. She was once a Russian
noble, now she is loyal to the Clans, and will ensure that Romana is brought to them.
Gyorgi: A friend of Sergei's he is an arms merchant who provides Sergei with many
of the items that make up Erik's collection. He meets Valeria and is desperate to become
immortal like her.
Null: A smart teenage hacker known and befriended by Sergei, he works for Gyorgi.
Abused as a child and shunned by people because of his looks and social ineptness, he
sees the vampires as the perfect revenge upon his tormenters. He too wishes to be
powerful and immortal like them.
What will happen when chance brings them all together?
