About the Book

Iron has become the center around which all the peoples of the planet Treason revolve, as it is the only hope of being able to escape by building a spaceship. The common thread of the novel, Lanik Mueller, belonging to a family that traffics with human members who can regenerate at will, undertakes an initiatory journey around the planet that will lead him to meet all the families that inhabit it: the Nkumai, descendants of a physicist; the Schwarts, of a geologist; the Allisons, of a theologian ... and to devise an ambitious plan to join forces and thus end their captivity. Time, matter, reproduction and the mind are the true protagonists of a novel that fuses in an exceptional way fascinating adventures and metaphysical research.
About the Author: Orson Scott Card became known in the field of science fiction with A Planet Called Betrayal and later established his prestige with the achievement in two successive years of the Hugo and Nebula awards for Ender's Game and The Voice of the Dead. He has built his work mainly framed in three great series: The Ender's series, the Alvin Maker series and the Saga of Return.
