Time is one of the first key few teachings one has to study sternly in the infancy of their Christianity. There are numerous parables of the Lord emphasizing on time. To keep it and to wait there in it by occupying. So that whenever He would come we would not be caught unawares. And a regular warning on keeping it and to keep reminding others to watch. For we do not know the hour nor the day.
Matthew 25:13 KJV Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Time until we see and measure it for what it is; we cannot comprehend nor see or tell its importance. But when we get to see it as the measure and value of one's life. Once we remember that we did not author our destinies but the purposes of God in us. We get to understand that every bit of it is vital to fulfill what we are purposed to do. Christ did highlight a thing very important to the disciples, that the purpose in us needs a certain amount of time and if we do not utilize time well. We might find out later that we failed not because we did not know but because we wasted time.
