About the Book

Die Arbeit entstand im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts des Lehrstuhls für Absatzwirtschaft an der Universität Bamberg. Ohne die engagierte Unterstützung von verschiedenen Seiten würde sie wohl in der jetzigen Form nicht vorliegen. Ich möchte deshalb an dieser Stelle die Gelegenheit nutzen, all denen aufrichtig zu danken, die am Zustandekommen dieser Arbeit maßgeblich beteiligt waren. Besonderer Dank gilt zuallererst meinem akademischen Lehrer, Herm Prof. Dr. Frank Wimmer. Ihm verdanke ich nicht nur die Initiative zu dieser Arbeit, son- dern auch viele fachliche und persönliche Anregungen, die für die Fertigstellung der Arbeit von ebenso unschätzbarer Bedeutung waren wie der am Lehrstuhl mir gewährte persönliche Freiraum. Zu Dank bin ich auch Herm Prof. Dr. Eduard Gabele verpflichtet, der bereit- willig die Mühe auf sich genommen hat, die Arbeit zu begutachten. Notwendige Voraussetzung für die Erstellung der Arbeit war auch die Unter- stützung durch die Marktforschungsinstitute Basis-Research in Frankfurt und G&I in Nürnberg. Mein besonderer Dank gilt dabei Herm Dr. Ruppert und Herm Dr. Prester. Stellvertretend für die vielen Anregungen von studentischer Seite habe ich insbe- sondere den Herren Martin Claßen, Markus Deppe und Günter Weber zu dan- ken. Eine große Hilfe für die Niederlegung der Arbeit waren auch Frau Ulrike Tenscher sowie die Herren Rainer Omlor und Jens Kirschbaum, die meine Ausführungen mit unermüdlichem Einsatz in eine ansprechende Form brachten.
