Dies ist aber nich die Intention dieser Arbeit. Viel mehr wird aufgezeigt, aus welchen ethischen Positionen heraus Soziale Arbeit einerseits als Hilfe und andererseits als Dienstleitung betrachtet werden kann. Damit gehen letztendlich auch institutionelle Gesichtspunkte einher, welche die Professionalisierung Sozialer Arbeit beeinflussen. Dazu wir zunächst geklärt, was Ethik den überhaupt ist, wie sie sich von der Moral abgrenzt und welche Einteilungen innerhalb der Ethik möglich sind. Das dritte Kapitel zeigt auf, was unter Hilfe aus christlicher Sicht zu verstehen ist. Dieser position wird Soziale Arbeit als lebensweltorientierte Dienstleistung gegenübergestellt. Die weiteren Abschnitte des dritten Kapitels thematisieren die ethischen Implikationen zum Helfermodell ebenso wie die zum Dienstleistungsmodell. Auf Grundlage der im dritten Kapitel vorgestellten ethischen Positionen erfolgt eine Auseinandersetzung darüber, wie sich diese Positionen auf die Professionalisierung Sozialer Arbeit auswirken. Dazu werden zunächst, zumindest rudimentär, die verschiedenen Diskursstränge innerhalb der Professionalisierungsdebatte der Sozialen Arbeit vorgestellt. Der Professionalisierungsdiskurs innerhalb der Sozialen Arbeit wird dann hinsichtlich der für Professionen notwendigen Rahmenbedingungen beleuchtet. Insbesondere wird die Verstrickung von Staat und Staatskirchen und die damit zusammenhängenden Rahmenbedingungen Sozialer Arbeit auch unter ethischen Gesichtspunkten betrachtet. Dies
