Frühjahr 2010. Der Journalist Mario von Lehndorff wird in Sachsen vermisst. Urlaub und Machtgeplänkel verhindern den schnellen Ermittlungsstart, doch schließlich hat Hauptkommissar Zech, nun auch Polizeichef von Dresden, den Fall auf dem Tisch und jede Menge Ärger. Nicht nur wegen der vorzeitigen Rückreise seiner Familie von Kreta. Erste Ergebnisse führen die Beamten nach Siebeneichen, einem durch viele Sagen und ein auf den Mauern des ehemaligen Vorwerks des Klosters 'Heilig Kreuz' errichtetes Schloss bekannter Vorort von Meißen an der Elbe. Verworren gestaltet sich die Suche, weit gefächert scheinen der mögliche Täterkreis und dessen Motive. Plötzlich können sowohl Ereignisse rund um den Bau des alten Schlossturmes im 16. Jh. wie auch aktuelle Wirtschaftskrise, Vertuschung eines groß angelegten Bilderraubes kurz nach dem letzten Krieg, Namensschwindel wie auch Schwarzgelder auf den Caymaninseln Grund für ungelöste Morde rund um den 'Turm der Vergessenen' in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart sein. Ein spannender Fall mit überraschenden Wendungen. Ein typischer 'Zech'.
About the Author: Stefan Jahnke, Jahrgang 1967, aufgewachsen in Dresden. Nach Schlosserlehre und Militärdienst erfolgreiches Diplomstudium im Maschinenbau an der TU Dresden. Sprachtraining und Mitarbeit in einer Werbeagentur südlich von London rundeten die Ausbildung ab. Anstellungen in IT- und Entwicklungsbereichen der Verlagsbranche folgten Leitung und Beteiligung an einer Bildungseinrichtung in Sachsen sowie leitende Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaufgaben bei einem der größten Reprografen Deutschlands. Die Lust zum Schreiben entdeckte Stefan Jahnke bereits mit 14 Jahren. Inspiriert von Abenteuer- und Jugendromanen verfasste er heute noch unveröffentlichte Erzählungen im Stil von Cooper, Gerstäcker und May. Seine Erfahrungen in Verlags-, Bildungs- und Unternehmensmanagement inspirierten ihn wieder zum Schreiben, diesmal von historischen Romanen, Thrillern zur Wirtschaftskriminalität in den Jahren nach der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands und Berichten über seine ihn prägenden Erlebnisse jener Zeit. Aufgrund der regimekritischen Ausrichtung seiner Familie blieben ihm vor 1990 im Ostteil Deutschlands ein angestrebtes Studium der Germanistik und die Übersiedlung in die Freiheit verwehrt. Stefan Jahnke lebt mit seiner Familie in Dresden und Radebeul.
