MacDonald, Rex Stout, John le Carre, Mickey Spillane, Ernest Hemingway and of course, Dashiell Hammett. . An astute reader may smile at the references to these grand masters of mystery and suspense. About the Author: Living with his family in his adopted city of Wilmington, North Carolina, this is Domenic Sylvester's first foray into the world of mystery and spymasters. It will not be his last. Writing under different pen names for different genres, he has published a dozen fiction books and several stories in newspapers and magazines. He takes inspiration from his rickety old sailboat on overnight jaunts where he can contemplate the mysteries of life under the dark, star-studded skies. A natural storyteller, his joy is taking the reader down unfamiliar paths to surprising destinations. His gift is making them believe.
