Schulpolitik, Note: 1,3, Universität Paderborn, Veranstaltung: Selbstreguliertes Lernen im schulischen Kontext, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit selbstreguliertem Lernen in der Schule. Sie stellt zuerst dar, wie selbstreguliertes Lernen funktioniert und ob es für Schüler heutzutage relevant ist. Auf Grundlage der CHILD Studie der University of Cambridge wird der Forschungsstand dazu aufgezeigt. Zuletzt wird die aktuelle Situation der Schulen und Schüler daraufhin untersucht, ob sie dem gewonnenen Anspruch gerecht werden. Dieses Thema bietet sich als Forschungsthema an, da bisher noch nicht viel dazu geforscht wurde, das Interesse an der Thematik aber im Allgemeinen steigt. Selbstreguliertes Lernen ist erlernbar und beginnt bereits im Kindesalter. Noch gibt es viele Fragen auf dem Gebiet, wie und wann Kinder Selbstkontrolle lernen. In dieser Arbeit wird festgehalten, dass Kinder zu einem gewissen Teil von sich aus entsprechende Kompetenzen entwickeln können. Diese reichen für unseren Alltag aber nicht aus. Das Schul- und Erziehungssystem bietet in seinem jetzigen Zustand nicht die richtige Umgebung, um Selbstkontrolle und Autonomie zu lernen. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass Eltern, Erzieher und Lehrkräfte sich bemühen, aus den gegebenen Strukturen eine passende Umgebung zu schaffen und weitere Kompetenzen zu fördern, damit Kinder am Ende ihrer Schulzeit in der Lage sind, an die heutigen Anforderungen der Gesellschaft angepasst, selbstständig zu lernen und zu handeln. Aus diesem Grund werden am Ende der Arbeit verschiedene Methoden vorgestellt, mithilfe derer Lehrer den Unterricht entsprechend gestalten können.
