Dieses sprachliche Phänomen wird "reduplikative Topikalisierung" genannt. Bei dem vorliegenden Sprachbeispiel handelt es sich um eine vielschichtige sprachliche Konstruktion, die in dieser Arbeit herangezogen wird, um die Vorteile der Konstruktionsgrammatik (construction grammar, im Folgenden: CxG) im Vergleich mit der generativen Grammatik aufzuzeigen. Die Vertreter der CxG verstehen "Konstruktionen" als eine Verbindung von Form und Bedeutung und versuchen zu verdeutlichen, dass der traditionelle Ansatz (atomare Betrachtung einzelner syntaktischer Einheiten) in vielen Fällen nicht dabei hilft, deren gesamten Gehalt umfassend zu erläutern. Der grundlegende Unterschied zur generativen Grammatik besteht darin, dass die CxG bei der Analyse nicht nur die syntaktische, sondern auch die semantische und teilweise die phonologische Dimension in den Blick nimmt. Beide Ansätze begreifen Sprache zwar als kognitives Modell, doch wird in der CxG angenommen, dass sprachliche Konstruktionen aufgrund von Input erlernt werden. Ihre Vertreter sprechen sich daher gegen die Idee einer Universalgrammatik aus (vgl. Goldberg 2003: 219f.). In Opposition zum "Wort-und-Regel-Ansatz" der generativen Grammatik geht die funktionale Sprach-wissen¬schaft von zwei Grundsätzen aus: 1. Die generellen syntaktischen Prinzipien sind nicht in der Lage, alle Phänomene/Abweichungen in der Syntax zu erklären. 2. Reine syntaktische Prinzipien verkennen die vielfältigen semantischen und phonologischen Abweichungen innerhalb grammatikalischer Konstruktionen (vgl. Valenzuela et al. 2005: 202).
