About the Book

A Quiver Full Of Arrows And Sons Of Fortune is a combination of two books, one of which contains twelve great short stories, and the other is a fantastic novel. Summary Of The Book A Quiver Full Of Arrows And Sons Of Fortune, published in 2008, is an omnibus of two Jeffrey Archer books. A Quiver Full of Arrows is a collection of short stories. The Chinese Statue is about a precious Ming Dynasty statuette that turns out to be fake. Old Love tells the beautiful yet tragic love story of William and Phillipa, two English literature undergraduates. The Coup contains the story of two Brazilian rival construction industrialists who have no choice but to spend time together after their flights get cancelled. The Perfect Gentleman revolves around ace backgammon player Edward Shrimpton who gets defeated by Harry Newman, a non-professional. In another story, the author then takes readers back in time, to the town of Bethlehem, where a young boy meets Mary and Joseph. The other stories are The Hungarian Professor, The Century, Henry's Hiccup, The Luncheon, A Matter of Principle, One Night Stand, and Broken Routine. Sons Of Fortune, first published in 2002, shows how a set of twin brothers are separated at birth, in the late 1940s. As Nat Cartwright goes home with his biological parents, Fletcher Andrew Davenport becomes the son of an affluent CEO. Nat studies at the University of Connecticut, and then goes off to serve the country in Vietnam. He returns as a war hero, and later becomes a successful bank executive. Meanwhile, Fletcher graduates from Yale University, becomes a criminal defence lawyer, and later a senator. Both the brothers face betrayal, hardships, and tragedies. Then as fate would have it, a high-profile murder case brings them together, but as rivals. A Quiver Full Of Arrows And Sons Of Fortune is a great book to read. Readers will find stories of romance, tragedy, kindness, rivalry, betrayal, and friendship. About Jeffrey Archer Jeffrey Howard Archer, born in 1940, is an English author, and former politician. A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
