About the Author: This three part series covers my involvement with a narcissist from the time I met him until the final breakup, along with the subsequent healing time and emotions that needed to be processed after that. I hope that by reading my story other women will see how easy it is to deny the truth and to become an enabler in a narcissist's game. I do not have any professional qualifications in psychology, nor do I pretend to have all the answers. I am simply a woman who got caught up with a narcissist and who wants to help others by sharing her story. If I can show the pitfalls along the way, perhaps shine some light into a dark and confusing time in a woman's life and help her to recognize not only the narcissist's traits and modus operandi but the character traits in herself that allow her to stay with him, then my goal has been achieved. Part I: Planet Ben is for those women who are with a narcissist but who want clarification he is one by witnessing the similarities in someone else's story. It offers a glimpse into a narcissist's world, some insight on the personality traits of both him and his co-player in the game (ie., you), the manner in which he sets out to hook his prey and his subsequent behavior once he has done so. Part II: End of the Fairytale is for those women who have broken ties with a narcissist. Either he has been caught cheating, or she has finally said enough. Yet for whatever reason - his false promises, her belief that he can change - she is contemplating taking him back, or has already done so and is now struggling to break away. The End of the Fairytale shows why there can be No Contact and no going back. Part III: Titanium covers the first two years after the death of the relationship where you are literally giving birth to a new you. It explains how to handle life and love after a narcissist, the emotional ups and downs you will go through and how to move on and forgive, to reach a place of peace - something which is imperative to your long term happiness and health.
