Perder la gracia es un relato sobre la vida, la carrera y las relaciones de cuatro personas con un largo recorrido profesional que se enfrentan al momento crucial de dejar de ser jóvenes valores. Con sentido del humor y un aire de confesiones sin filtros, reflexionan sobre su generación e interpelan a las que vienen detrás. ¿Qué pasa cuando uno deja de ser el más joven de su entorno? ¿Qué pasa cuando se pierde la gracia? Javier Gómez Santander, Pedro Simón, Antonio Lucas y Eduardo Madina vuelcan en este libro su vertiente más literaria y reflexiva, hablando de trabajo para hablar de la vida, conscientes de que «la gracia no es eterna. Los mundos que se van nunca lo hacen de golpe. Edificios que primero presentan una grieta milimétrica y luego otra mayor, que al cabo de los años se van venciendo. Para que en su lugar la sociedad construya algo nuevo y, en ocasiones, mejor».
About the Author: Antonio Lucas (Madrid, 1975) escribe desde 1996 en el diario El Mundo y es colaborador de RNE y de la Cadena Ser. Como poeta ha publicado varios títulos: Antes del mundo (1996), accésit del Premio Adonáis; Lucernario (1999), por el que recibió el Premio Ojo Crítico de Poesía 2000; Las máscaras (2004); Los mundos contrarios (2009), Premio Internacional Ciudad de Melilla; Los desengaños (2014), Premio Loewe; y Los desnudos (2020), Premio Internacional de Poesía Generación del 27. También tiene publicado un volumen de su poesía reunida, Fuera de sitio. 1995-2015. Es autor de varios libros sobre arte: Soledad Lorenzo, una vida en el arte (2014), Manolo Valdés: esculturas (2012), así como una selección de perfiles literarios de algunas creadoras y creadores esenciales de la cultura de los siglos XIX y XX reunidos bajo el título de Vidas de santos (Círculo de Tiza, 2015). Buena mar es su primera novela.

Eduardo Madina (1976) fue político en activo desde su primera juventud y diputado hasta 2017, cuando se retiró de la política. Actualmente es socio de la consultora estratégica Harmon.

Javier Gómez Santander (1983) ha sido guionista y productor de la serie La casa de papel. Actualmente dirige su propia productora, La Pegaso.

Pedro Simón (1971) es escritor y periodista, actualmente en el diario El Mundo. En 2021 recibió el Premio Primavera de Novela por Los ingratos. Los incomprendidos es su última novela.
