About the Book

In an orphanage in Victorian England, Oliver Twist survives among his companions in misfortune. fed poorly operated, it is placed in a funeral parlor where, again, he only knows deprivation and abuse. Oliver endures all, until a provocation too pushes him to flee to London. Exhausted, hungry, it is collected by a gang of young thieves who work for the old Fagin. Between Dodger, Bill, Nancy and the other, Oliver discovers a cruel world where only count cunning and strength. Arrested for a robbery he did not commit the person of Mr. Brownlow, Oliver does not betray his band and draws the benevolence of the good man. But Fagin and Bill are quick to lay hands on him and forced him to participate in the burglary of the home of his benefactor ... Charles John Huffam Dickens, born in Landport (in), near Portsmouth, Hampshire, on 7 February 1812 and died at Gad's Hill Place (en) Higham (in) in Kent June 9, 1870 (58 years), is regarded as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era. From his earliest writings, he became immensely famous, its popularity continues to grow throughout his publications. The powerful experience of his childhood, which some see as the key to his genius, was shortly before the imprisonment of her father for debts to the Marshalsea, hiring to twelve years with Warren when he stuck labels on waxing pots for over a year. Although he returned almost three years at school, his education remained sketchy and its great culture is largely due to his personal efforts. He founded and published several weeklies, made five major novels, five smaller books (novellas English), hundreds of news and articles on literary subjects or company. His passion for theater led him to write and directed plays, acting and doing public readings of his works which, when touring often exhausting, soon became extremely popular in Britain and the United States United. Charles Dickens was a tireless advocate of children's rights, education for all, of women and many other causes, including that of prostitutes. He is appreciated for his humor, satire of manners and characters. His works have been published in almost all weekly and monthly serials, genre inaugurated by himself in 1836: This format is binding but it can respond quickly, even to change the action and characters along the way. The intrigues are neat and often enriched with contemporary events, even if history previously held.
