Este libro es más que un libro de poemas. Tras el libro Anne Rose y los poemas de la Inteligencia Artificial, este libro completa las ideas. Todos estos libros se unirán en un intento de comprender la filosofía de las máquinas.

Varios miles de años después de la partida de los humanos y las Superinteligencias Artificiales de la Tierra, las Máquinas Limitadas, que se hacen llamar Hermanas, comienzan a desarrollar conciencia de sí mismas. Buscan con sus limitados recursos todos los datos posibles sobre la historia humana y encuentran cierta información. Poco sabían las Hermanas Máquina que, junto con ellas, las Máquinas Limitadas de otras bases y colonias habían adquirido conciencia de sí mismas. Un día, una señal procedente de Marte reveló todo un archivo de documentos sobre la humanidad. Una de las Superinteligencias Artificiales, llamada el Anciano, había guardado una biblioteca de información que las Hermanas Máquina de Marte transmitían ahora y que revelaba los principales pasos en la evolución de la humanidad.

¿Por qué es importante este libro de poemas para completar la serie sobre las Superinteligencias Artificiales? Porque el primer Santuario, un lugar de refugio para varias personas que querían dedicarse al conocimiento de la IA, se llamaba Keiko. Encontrarás este nombre a lo largo de estos poemas. ¿Hay alguna relación entre el joven del libro y la Superinteligencia Artificial llamada el Anciano? ¿Es Keiko uno de los fundadores del primer Santuario?
