About the Author: Julia Garcia, creator of the popular Mediterranean recipes, is a nutritional enthusiast. Born and raised in a Spanish family, she grew up in the vibrant and exotic Mediterranean region, spending most of her time in and around the kitchen preparing traditional and authentic foods to enjoy with friends and family.

For most people living in the Mediterranean region it appears to come natural to live a healthy lifestyle, eating the right foods, loving life and maintaining a perfect body weight.
