Während die Zukunft der Erde sich aus dem Chaos der Ereignisse abzuzeichnen beginnt, versuchen die Beteiligten ihre Rollen zu begreifen um ihr Schicksal doch noch in die eigenen Hände nehmen zu können. Dieser gesellschaftskritische Roman ist sowohl Science- als auch Social-Fiction. Die prägnanten Charaktere kreisen innerhalb der neuen Gesellschaftsordnung wie Himmelskörper um ihr gemeinsames Schicksal, teils in weitem Abstand, teils auf Kollisionskurs. Während sich immer mehr herauskristallisiert, worauf all diese Einzelereignisse hinauslaufen, erhebt sich jedoch zunächst die Frage, welche Bedeutung Amerikas letzter Eskimo für das größte Menschheitsprojekt aller Zeiten hat.
About the Author: Hans-Uwe Rower, geboren 1938 in Kiel, wuchs in Hamburg und Umgebung auf. Nach seiner Heirat mit einer Mexikanerin lebt er seit 1970 in Mexiko. Er ist Autor zahlreicher Kurzgeschichten in spani-scher Sprache. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt der Anthropologie, der Raumfahrt sowie der Verande-rung der menschlichen Werte in der naheren Zu-kunft. MAYDAY ist der erste Band einer Trilogie."
