Le livre se compose de trois parties: a) introduction au marketing numérique, b) introduction au commerce électronique et c) introduction à la banque mobile. La première partie présente et discute les différents aspects du marketing numérique, y compris le concept de valeur, la convergence des industries et les modèles d'entreprise qu'elle génère; la transformation de l'industrie et décrit les principaux changements. La deuxième partie se concentre essentiellement sur le commerce électronique et examine ses principaux concepts et, dans le cas du Mozambique et d'autres pays africains, discute des stratégies de popularisation et de massification, en soulignant le rôle stratégique joué par les compagnies téléphoniques et postales au Mozambique, en Afrique et dans le monde. La dernière partie traite de la banque mobile et souligne le rôle de la banque mobile initiée par les opérateurs de téléphonie mobile dans l'inclusion financière. Le marketing numérique, en tant qu'atmosphère marketing, ne rend pas le capital humain obsolète et ne change pas la mission des organisations, mais constitue en soi une valeur ajoutée par rapport à la manière traditionnelle de faire les choses.
