The rise to the highest offices of the country brings into play viciously ambitious power seeking individuals, conspire to assassinate the one, holding the highest office, the President of the United States, thereby emphasising the slogan of the novel, "THE SEEKING OF POWER IS CORRUPTION BY ITSELF" and POWER CORRUPTS - ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTE.
Each "Assignment to Contract" of the three, "Assassins" is a novel by itself.
