He is married to wife Patricia, living in Suffolk, Virginia. He is a retired twenty-five year US Navy Chief Warrant Officer, and post service retired Qualified Mental Health Counselor having worked with At-Risk teenagers and other youth in the Tidewater area of Virginia. He and his wife are active church members, and they cordinate the Annual Winter Coat Missions Drive in gathering and shipping winter coats to Native Americans in a ministry in Grandforks, ND. He is a member of the Churchland Writers Group, Portsmouth, Virginia. He likes to write, read and is an avid gardener and mountain bike rider. He and his wife have three adult children and six grandchildren between them.
