Ausgangspunkt dieser Arbeit ist die Feststellung, dass Immobilien in Deutschland in einem zunehmend professionellen Umfeld beurteilt werden und Anleger insofern die gleichen Anforderungen an Immobilieninvestitionen wie an andere Kapitalanlagen, insbesondere Finanzanlagen, stellen. Im Laufe dieser Arbeit zeigt sich, dass eine Anwendung der Modernen Portfolio Theorie nur auf die an Finanzmärkten gehandelten Immobilienanlageformen bedenkenlos möglich ist. Die durchgeführten ausführlichen empirischen Untersuchungen zeigen für Europa und die USA u.a., dass ein Hinzufügen dieser Anlageform der Immobilien-Aktien zu Renten-/Aktien-Portfolios sich als vorteilhaft erweist, da entsprechende Diversifikationsvorteile im Zeitablauf nachgewiesen werden konnten.
About the Author: Die Autorin: Isabelle Jandura, geboren 1974, studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Freiburg. Nach Abschluss ihres Studiums 1999 verbrachte sie ein Semester am Real Estate Department der University of Wisconsin-Madison. Im Anschluss daran nahm sie eine Stelle als wissenschaftliche Assistentin am Lehrstuhl für Finanzwirtschaft und Banken an der Universität Freiburg an. Derzeit ist sie als Senior Consultant bei einem internationalen Immobilienberatungsunternehmen in Frankfurt am Main tätig.
