Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,3, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald (Deutsche Philologie), Veranstaltung: Hochschulische Kommunikation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die E-Mail als mittlerweile nicht nur beliebtes, sondern auf Grund der hohen Studentenzahl, die eine Lehrkraft zu betreuen hat, auch notwendiges Kommunikationsmedium, ist die meist genutzte Methode der Studenten, um in den direkten Kontakt zum Dozenten zu treten, ohne auf die Sprechzeit warten zu müssen und sich somit den zeitökonomischen Bedingungen der Institution Universität/Hochschule anzupassen. Die Verwendung von E-Mails beinhaltet zudem weitere Vorteile wie die einfachere, schnellere sowie günstigere Übermittlung/Archivierung der Nachrichten im Gegensatz zum Briefverkehr, der persönlichen Flexibilität hinsichtlich des Lesens und Beantwortens der E-Mail sowie der Möglichkeit, Attachments mitzusenden (Beutner 2002, 26-27). Nahezu alle Studenten verfassen während ihrer Hochschullaufbahn eine hohe Anzahl von Mails an ihre Lehrenden. Um die vom Studierenden präferierte Wirkung zu erzielen und somit eine missglückte Kommunikation zu vermeiden, sollte sich jeder Studierende im Klaren sein, ob die von ihm verwendete Nutzungsstrategie angemessen hinsichtlich des kommunikativen Rahmens ist, da es mitunter vorkommt, dass Lehrende die digitale Konversation auf Grund einer vom Studierenden vorgenommenen Normenverletzung einstellen (Vgl. Kiesendahl 2009, 326). Um dies zu verhindern, sollte sich der Studierende nicht an Konventionen bzw. Normen der alltäglich-privaten Kommunikation orientieren, sondern an denen der Formellen. Es ist bekannt, dass in den Mails Studierender Normabweichungen enthalten sind (Kiesendahl 2006, 2009), allerdings nicht, ob es möglich ist, bestimmte Normabweichungen einem jeweiligen Geschlecht zuzuordnen. Dies soll den Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit bilden. Zudem soll betrachtet werden, ob und wie Lehrende
