About the Author: Paul J. Kenyon was born and raised in the city of Olean, NY. He has three children, Joseph, Karena and Noah, several grand children and one great granddaughter, Jordyn. In 1975, he began writing his first book, but shelved the idea after moving to Arizona. With two small children, and setting up a new home, it was difficult to find the time to write. In 2009, after moving back to New York, Paul decided to give writing another try. He was prompted to finish the book he had started in 1975 after visiting the property the story is about. "You Know They're Here," is a true accounts story of a haunted house and the family who lived through their ordeal of paranormal activity. Initially, the book was a personal achievement. There were no plans to pursue publishing his story until Clara M. Miller, mother of the family who experienced the haunting suggested he send the manuscript to her publisher after reading the story. On September 14, 2009, "You Know They're Here" was published by Virtual Book Worm publishing. In 2011, Paul published his first book of fiction, "Cold Secrets - The Challenge," which is book one in a fictional series. The Challenge was self-published through CreateSpace on May 5, 2011. Book two, "Cold Secrets - Cleaning the Slate" is due out early spring 2013. This series tells the story of a retired police captain who moves from California to Kentucky. Vic Panada, undercover operative, was instrumental in removing corruption on the inside from the police force. It is a story of law enforcement, romance... and oh yes, a bit of the paranormal! Paul 's newest, "Heart of Darkness," is the story of a serial killer, but not your garden variety serial killer. There are many twists, and turns adding to the graphic nature of the story. Paul says he enjoys writing and creating characters anyone can relate to, good or bad.
