English summary: Twenty years after his death the noted artist Guenter Tollmann is given his proper place in public memory and in the art of the 20th century. After his studies at the Art Academy of Duesseldorf in the late 1950's, his large format style emerged, which referenced the Informel art style. He used the union of concentrated energy, the breaking open of forms and hazy, almost monochromatic, color patterns and developed them into dramatic events that quickly gained him considerable notoriety.
