About the Author: John Edward Love, CPCU, has been in the insurance industry since 1989. He is licensed in P&C as well as Life & Health. He is the President of TechAssure Association, Inc., and founder and partner in Cazador Associates, Inc., which published this book. John has a B.A. in Political Science and a 2nd major in Radio/TV/Film Broadcasting. He then taught Introduction to Political Science at James Madison University for two years while earning his Master of Public Administration degree. Like a lot of Poli Sci and communications majors, he went right into sales. As a commissioned loan officer he completed his 12-month training program in 5 months, and launched into the top ten of the company while opening a new territory. But, he wanted to be able to work with long-term clients so he launched a career in commercial insurance with a Virginia agency, AH&T Insurance. AH&T was named Rough Notes magazine's "National Marketing Agency of the Year" in 1997. John now serves on the Rough Notes advisory board and writes for the magazine on producer self-management. John serves on the Board of Directors of Avatar Corp., a specialist broker based in Australia. He is a founder and Chairman of AssureTech Insurance Services, an insurance wholesaler owned by the retailers it serves - a new model for wholesalers that will rapidly expand. He is also a founder and director of Greenworks Video, a revolutionary corporate video for the web production company. John is also passionate about outdoor sports and plays as hard as he works.
