Parallel worlds Rafia and Vyndral were once locked in a bitter conflict that claimed the lives of millions. The Universal War raged for years when the tide finally turned in favor of the Rafians.
A Vyndral commander claimed to have unlocked the mystery of the theoretical Fusion World Machine. In a desperate attempt to bring the war to an end and prevent the use of a machine that would obliterate Rafia and endanger the very fabric of the universe, a small band of Rafian specialists known as the Iota Corps, successfully infiltrated the Vyndral Planetary Defense Network and deployed an anti-terran weapon.
While the war was over, Vyndral was left a cold desolate nucelar wasteland.
Twenty years have passed since the Universal War. Now, Vyndral is back. The children that were left in a ruined world have militarized, and seek to rebuild their society.
With the fate of their planet in the balance, once again, a small band of untested Rafians must come together as a team to stop the new Vyndral threat. The Philanthropy Five: a pacifist sniper, a criminal hacker, an untested combad medic, an amnesiac pilot, and a veteran captain.
Over the course of their harrowing journey, the makeshift team become a tight-knit and proficient unit. The plan to stop the Vyndralites and save Rafia requires extraordinary skill, precision, diplomacy, and ultimately, sacrifice.
