About the Author: The first-time author Maria Volodina was born in Russia in small village Kursavka which located in the North Caucasus. She graduated from the North-Caucasian Technical University. Several years she worked for factory in Stavropol as Engineer-Economist. In Russia Maria enjoyed a wide array of activities: one of them is parachute sport. In January 1998 Maria arrived to the United States with no prior knowledge of English, but through her passion of languages she acquired it quickly.
