On leaving the military she married and travelled around the world for a couple of years. Upon returning to Australia, she started her own graphics business which she ran for many years. While looking after her family Tina tried to always maintain her balance in life and has endeavoured to show other to do the same. Living in Mackay when her marriage broke down, she stayed for a little while and then decided to move to a smaller country town for the lifestyle she wanted for her children. Tina now lives in Ayr, Queensland, with her five children.
