About the Author: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Przemyslaw Komarnicki ist Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer Institut IFF Magdeburg, ggw. Abteilungsleiter Forschungsfeld Konvergente Versorgungsinfrastrukturen und hat die Professur für Elektrische Energieanlagentechnik der Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal inne. Er ist Vorstandvorsitzender beim Zentrum für Erneuerbare Energien Sachsen-Anhalt, Lehrbeauftragter der Universität Magdeburg und Hochschule Bielefeld sowie Autor/Co-Autor von zwei Büchern und über 100 wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen. Er leitet bzw. begutachtet eine Vielzahl nationaler und internationaler Projekte und ist Mitglied in VDE/ETG, DIN, CIGRE, IEEE und IEC.​Dr.-Ing. Pio Lombardi arbeitet am Fraunhofer-Institut für Fabrikbetrieb und -automatisierung in Magdeburg, Deutschland. Er promovierte auf dem Gebiet der Optimierung von VPP. Er ist Mitglied der ETG und der CIGRE, wo er Sekretär in der CIGRE WG C6.15 und aktives Mitglied der CIGRE WG C6.30 (The Impact of Battery Energy Storage Systems on Distribution Networks) und C6.22 (Microgrid Evolution Roadmap) war. Prof. Dr. Zbigniew A. Styczynski war Professor an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, zuletzt Lehrstuhleiter, ggw. i.R. und Vorstandvorsitzender beim Zentrum für Erneuerbare Energien Sachsen-Anhalt (bis 2017). Er ist Co-Autor von mehreren Büchern (u.a. Springer) und über 300 wiss. Veröffentlichungen. Er betätigt sich als Leiter und Gutachter einer Vielzahl nationaler und internationaler Projekte.
