About the Book

El 8 de octubre de 1988 en Maracaibo, Venezuela, nace Beatriz Helena Pineda Páez quien desde muy niña siempre se sintió atraída por el arte y el diseño en todas sus expresiones. Su madre, a tiempo, descubrió sus facetas y la motivó a desarrollar su creatividad. Al obtener su título de bachiller en 2006, decide estudiar dos carreras a la vez: diseño de modas en el Colegio Universitario Monseñor de Talavera, y Arquitectura, pues amaba el diseño de interiores. La popularidad de Beatriz creció y del Club Náutico de Maracaibo recibió una llamada telefónica en la que la invitaban a ser la diseñadora oficial de los carnavales del club; al descubrir que diseñar vestidos era su gran pasión, abandona la carrera de Arquitectura para enfocarse al 100% en Diseño de Modas, título que obtiene en el 2009, y crea oficialmente su propia marca "Beatriz Pineda". En el 2011, viaja a la ciudad de Barcelona, España, para realizar un postgrado en "Fashion Retail" y un curso de especialización en Styling, ambos en el IED (Insituto Europeo di Design), Al siguiente año regresa a su país natal en donde se convirtió en la favorita de las novias en el país. Su prestigio, la llevó a ganar un lugar privilegiado en la Pasarela 261, el evento de moda más importante de toda Venezuela, participando en dos ediciones consecutivas. En 2018 gana dos premios Mara de Oro gracias a su trabajo como diseñadora de modas. Cabe destacar que este premio es el más importante entregado en el país, y cuenta con certificación internacional. La manera de comercializar moda, pasando a la venta de grandes cantidades de artículos y una multiplicidad de clientes, ha hecho que toda la cadena que engloba el negocio del mismo cambie, y para siempre. Este tipo de negocio, se caracteriza por ser de trato directo con los clientes, con una mayor recurrencia de los mismos; en el que todo el marketing está enfocado hacia ellos. Al ser visitados por una multitud de clientes, el cerebro de la operación y éxito de la misma se basa en lograr que la logística responda a los requerimientos, razón por lo cual se crea una significativa dependencia Es por ello que Beatriz, nos trae esta obra en donde a lo largo de sus seis capítulos, se observa la pasión con la que la autora ha desarrollado cada uno de ellos, desde su experiencia, sus vivencias, impregnándole su sello, hecho también que seduce al lector.
