Kunden wollen mittlerweile alles Online kaufen: ob Sofas, komplette Schränke oder sogar eine vollständige Kücheneinrichtung. Produkte, die vor einiger Zeit noch davon lebten, ausprobiert, angefasst und getestet zu werden, lässt man sich nun nach Hause schicken. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass das Wachstum der Möbelbrache - zumindest offline - stagniert. Anhand verschiedener Faktoren, ist eine maximale Punktzahl von 1000 zu erreichen. Die Bewertungskriterien des Digital-Success-Index setzen sich aus unterschiedlichen Faktoren zusammen. Ein wesentlicher Aspekt ist der Webauftritt. Dabei wird beispielsweise Wert auf die Usability und die User Experience gelegt. Aber auch SEA- und SEO-Kriterien fließen in die Bewertung ein. Ziel des Digital-Success-Index ist die Identifizierung von Stärken und Schwächen der einzelnen Möbelhändler hinsichtlich ihres Webauftritts und der Cross-Channel-Verzahnung.
