About the Author: Spietweh wird im Speckgürtel der Hauptstadt der DDR geboren und genießt die Schulbildung in einem Land, das den Text seiner eigenen Nationalhymne schon verboten hat. Seine Eltern sind bis heute renitente Regimekritiker, die stets dafür sorgen, dass sein Pioniertuch verschwindet. Die Kindheit verbringt er im Angelverein oder mit den Großeltern auf dem werkseigenen Campingplatz des Plastewerks Köpenick nahe der mecklenburgischen Siedlung Kratzeburg. Der Weg zum scharfsinnigen Humoristen war also vorgezeichnet. Der erste Beweis dafür war die Führerscheinprüfung, in der er die Geschwindigkeit in einer 30-Zone um mehr als 20 km/h überschreitet. Seitdem gehört Autofahren und Reisen allgemein zu seinen liebsten Beschäftigungen. Spietweh studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre in Berlin und Brüssel, arbeitet als Direktor für verrückte Evaluation und krassen Mist in Berlin, Köln und Aachen für große und kleine, deutsche, französische, amerikanische und schwedische Unternehmen und reist für diese und für sich selbst durch die Welt zwischen Hennepin County, Petrosawodsk und Batumi.
