Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 3,0, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Bacheloratbeit stellt sich die Frage, inwiefern erzähltheoretische Strukturen bekannter Narratologen wie Gérard Genette, Wolf Schmid, Matías Martínez und Michael Scheffel die literarische Darstellung von Depression unterstützen und sie das Hineinfühlen in depressive Figuren und das Nachempfinden einer Depressionserkrankung ermöglichen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der Erzählstruktur in Ava Reeds Roman "Alles, Nichts, Und ganz viel dazwischen" und deren Bedeutung für die Darstellung von Depression. Der erste Teil dieser Arbeit widmet sich der allgemeinen Definition von Depressionen, der Erläuterung auftretender Symptome und möglicher Begleiterscheinungen und der Einordnung der psychischen Störung in ein Klassifikationssystem. Ein besonderer Blick gilt in diesem Kapitel der Entstehung einer Depression im Kindes- und Jugendalter, um dann einen Zusammenhang zwischen der Darstellung von Depressionen und der modernen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur mit ihren besonderen Erzähltechniken herzustellen. Im Hauptteil erfolgt die Analyse der Erzählstruktur anhand Gérard Genettes Einteilung auf zwei Ebenen: einmal auf der Ebene des 'discours', womit das 'Wie' der Erzählung gemeint ist, und auf der Ebene der 'histoire', dem dargestellten Erzählinhalt. Auf dieser Grundlage wird herausgearbeitet, welche erzähltheoretischen Parameter ein Hineinfühlen in die depressive Figur ermöglichen, wie das Thema der Depression in den Text eingebettet wird und auf welche Art und Weise der Erzähler agiert. Auf der Ebene des Erzählinhalts werden die Aspekte der Handlung, der Figuren und des Raumes herangezogen.
