Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2000 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Entwicklungspsychologie, Note: sehr gut, Universität Wien (Institut für Psychologie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Depressivität im Jugendalter, als von der Erwachsenendepression abweichendes Krankheitsbild ist heute ein weitgehend anerkanntes Phänomen. Das war nicht immer so, lange Zeit galt die depressive Störung im Kindes- und Jugendalter als entwicklungsspezifische Störung - die Kinder galten als schwierig - und nicht als eigenständiges Krankheitsbild. Während das klassische Bild eines depressiven Jugendliche den meisten bekannt ist, zeigt sich in letzter Zeit nicht immer nur das typische Erscheinungsbild des traurig, zurückgezogenen Jugendlichen. Ärgerlich, zornige und wütende Verhaltensweisen werden selten einem depressiven Jugendlichen zugeordnet, sind jedoch oft ebenso ein mögliches Erscheinungsbild eines depressiven Jugendlichen. In letzter Zeit mehren sich Untersuchungen (Reicher, 1997; Kusch & Petermann, 1997), die das gemeinsame Auftreten verschiedener Verhaltensstörungen, welches Komorbidität genannt wird, beschreiben. Das isolierte Auftreten der depressiven Störung wird heute sogar eher als Ausnahme, denn als Regelfall beschrieben. Es gibt viele Bereiche, in denen Komorbidität bei Kindern und Jugendlichen auftritt, als häufigste komorbide Störungen zur Depression werden Angst und Aggression genannt. (King et al., 1991; Garber et al., 1991) Auf diese Bereiche soll in Folge eingegangen werden, wobei der Bereich Angst eingegrenzt werden soll, auf den Spezialfall "Leistungsängstlichkeit". Vor allem im Schulbereich zeigen sich Leistungsängste bei Jugendlichen. Einerseits, weil die Schule als Schnittstelle zwischen Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen fungiert und dort etwaige Störungen eher erkannt werden können, andererseits weil die Schule als leistungsfordernde Institution oft eine Bedrohung für Kinder und Jugendliche darstellt. Aus diesem Grund wurde dieser relevante Teilbereich der Angst
