Being a coach is complicated business. Winning is important, but there is so much more to it. Coaches are asked to be teachers, disciplinarians, leaders, and collaborators. As important as the Xs and Os are, the greater goa-the heart of coaching-is helping players become responsible, mature adults.
Success begins with the coach, and you will learn the three things you need to know about creating a high-performance organization. The team's results reflect what you communicate. You communicate through everything you say and do. Self-managed, balanced coaches create resilient teams; a real competitive advantage.
