Kürzere Produktlebenszyklen, sinkende Absatzpreise sowie wachsende Konkurrenz führen zu der unausweichlichen Situation, flexibel und kurzfristig auf die Beschleunigung der wechselnden Markt- und Kundenanforderungen zu reagieren. Die Veränderungsfähigkeit von Unternehmen wird daher mehr und mehr zu einem entscheidenden Erfolgsfaktor, welche langfristig zur Existenzsicherung am Markt beiträgt. Diese Fähigkeit ruft die Notwendigkeit hervor, nicht nur einzelne Prozesse, sondern die gesamte Organisation eines Unternehmens im Laufe der Zeit weiterzuentwickeln. Die Anpassung der Organisationsstrukturen stellt Unternehmen vor große Herausforderungen, welche Koordinierung und einen strukturierten Ablauf erfordern. Eine derartige Strukturveränderung betrifft das Unternehmen auf allen Ebenen, so dass die Umsetzung oftmals durch eine hohe Komplexität geprägt ist. Aus diesem Grund hat sich im Laufe der Zeit der Managementzweig des Change Managements entwickelt, welcher die Initiierung und Steuerung von Veränderungen zum Fokus hat. Obwohl Veränderungen heutzutage allgegenwärtig und bereits als natürlicher Bestandteil des betrieblichen Alltags anzusehen sind, scheitern Veränderungsvorhaben, trotz einwandfreier Methodik des Managements, in der Praxis häufig. Die häufigste Ursache bildet der Faktor Mensch, folglich der einzelne Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens. Unsicherheiten und Ängste vor dem Unbekannten des bevorstehenden Prozesses sind für sie ein ständiger Wegbegleiter, so dass Widerstand häufig die Folge ist. Um Veränderungsprozesse erfolgreich realisieren zu können und Akzeptanz zu schaffen, ist es daher von hoher Bedeutung, diese zu reduzieren. Als wichtiges Instrument nimmt professionelle unternehmensinterne Kommunikation eine Schlüsselrolle im Spannungsfeld der Widerstände ein.
About the Author: Christina Janning, Dipl. Betriebswirtin (FH), wurde 1987 geboren. Ihr Studium der Betriebswirtschaft an der Privaten Hochschule Göttingen schloss die Autorin im Jahre 2012 mit dem akademischen Grad der Diploma erfolgreich ab. Bereits während des Studiums sammelte die Autorin umfassende praktische Erfahrungen in der Konsumgüter- und Investitionsgüterbranche. Ständige Restrukturierungen und Neuausrichtungen in den Unternehmen motivierte sie, sich der Thematik des Umgangs im Change Management anzunehmen.
