About the Book

Yves Tricard lives a peaceful life between his job as an accountant and his periods of unemployment. The periods of inactivity the stress, the fear of poverty tightens the throat to him. That's why he accepts any job. He lives in Dole, he agrees to travel to earn a living. The former capital of Franche-Comté is no more than a small provincial town.

At the moment, he works at Carrefour in Dijon, he does the accounting for the Toison d'Or hypermarket. The TER and the tramway, morning and evening, a three-hour journey, you must love your job. Before taking the tram, he drinks a coffee at the station café. The tram in the morning is a sardine box, it's a Sauna. He sweats like an ox. This tramway is not the tramway named desire, and I am not Ernest Hemingway.

He lives a relationship with Cynthia, a shopkeeper, he calls her that, she counts and recounts her box every evening. He loves money and trade. Always winning is his leitmotif.

He recognizes a passionate love for his buttocks. The restaurant with Cynthia on the weekends, after he takes care of her posterior under a porch, or in the forest. Sometimes a bar, where he drinks more than reason would, unless he's spending the night with her. A beer or his ass, he has to choose. In winter, between the bedroom and the woods, hesitation does not hold water.

His life flows like a calm river whose course never encounters any pitfalls, it would never occur to him to get out of bed. One day, everything changes, a letter from a notary tells him that he has inherited from an uncle he didn't know existed.
His father died within the first years of his life. His mother erased it, and never talks about it. He grew up with a ghost, he knew he existed, he doesn't know anything about him, his family disappeared and showed no interest in him. This uncle who comes out of nowhere leaves him perplexed . He was aware that he had a nephew, he lived without worrying about his fate. Families aren't what they used to be.

In front of the notary, he discovers that he has inherited a wine estate, a castle and a riding school. The description given by the notary engenders no doubt, He has become rich. He will never be an accountant again. Farewell, tramway, TER, Burgundy and Franche-Comté. His property is located in Bordeaux.

Arriving at the castle, he discovers that a person is present, everyone talks about it fearing her, her name is Agathe. No matter how hard he looked, he didn't see anyone. Rumors told her that she would be over two hundred years old. It is likely to be a ghost. A castle always has its ghost, even if you don't live in Scotland. He prefers Bordeaux to the mists of Edinburgh.

Cynthia is there, she hangs on, there are money, she likes money and Yves has a crush on her buttocks.

He is faced with an enigma, he is not aware of his uncle's personality, his mother remains vague, she met him, she stayed in the courtyard, he seemed frightened looking at the castle. He returned to his aunt, a whimsical old woman, his uncle's sister. She refused the inheritance.
