About the Author: Kangoma Kindembo was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (former Zaire), but left the country at age of nine - and spent seven years in Tanzania - where his writing emerged when he was thirteen. Poems were his starting point. He then moved to the Republic of Ireland, where he lives with his family, and has authored more than three chapbooks of poetry and three novels - one for promoting peace and two for young people. A great eater of peanuts who has found himself addicted into writing and has never thought to put an end to it. Kangoma speaks more than seven languages - including French, English and some Spanish. Kangoma Kindembo is also a songwriter who has more than 80 written songs - ready to be explored by great singers out there!
