About the Author: Marcus H. Rosenmuller, Jahrgang 1973, studierte an der Hochschule fur Fernsehen und Film in Munchen. Seinen Diplomfilm Hotel Deepa drehte er dank eines Stipendiums des DAAD in Indien. Schon wahrend seines Studiums erhielt er Preise und Auszeichnungen fur seine Kurzfilme Nur Schreiner machen Frauen glucklich, Kummel und Korn und C'est la vie. Neben Fernsehdokumentationen fur den Bayrischen Rundfunk hatte er das Gluck mehrere Kinofilme drehen zu konnen, und machte mit Wer fruher stirbt ist langer tot, Rauber Kneil, Schwere Jungs, Beste Zeit und Beste Gegend den Heimatfilm wieder zu einem bei Filmkritikern und Publikum gleichermaen beliebten Genre. Sein erster groer Kinoerfolg Wer fruher stirbt ist langer tot wurde mit dem Deutschen Filmpreis 2007, dem Bayrischen Filmpreis 2007, dem New Face Award 2007 sowie dem Forderpreis Deutscher Film 2006 ausgezeichnet. Zuletzt war von ihm 2009 Die Perlmutterfarbe im Kino zu sehen. Er liebt Dampfnudeln und Kartoffelsuppe, aber nicht Dampfnudeln mit Kartoffelsuppe. Karin Michalke wurde 1976 in Altomunster, im Landkreis Dachau geboren. Nach dem Abitur machte sie zunachst eine Lehre zur Verlagskauffrau bevor sie 1998 ein Studium an der Hochschule fur Fernsehen und Film in Munchen begann. Nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss folgte ein Jahr bei der Drehbuchwerkstatt Munchen. Sie schrieb Drehbucher zur Trilogie Beste Zeit, Beste Gegend und Beste Chance, sowie dem Film Rauber Kneil. 2009 veroffentlichte sie ihren ersten Roman Rosa macht blau.
