Bo Duke had figured out that his father was determined to set his sons up with wives and he wanted nothing to do with it. His two brothers had fallen under the pressure and were both now happily married. Cade, the oldest was practically walking around on cloud nine, proud as a peacock that his wife Grace had just given birth to their first child. Gideon, the middle brother was married to a nurse named Kelly who spent her days volunteering down at the nursing home. Bo was thrilled for his brothers... he really was, but that didn't mean he wanted to join them! No way! If Jeremiah brought another woman into the house, he was heading for the hills and he'd already told the old man as much in no uncertain terms! Too bad Kelly has other ideas! One of the patients down at the home was an old woman whose daughter had been touring with her band and had begrudgingly came to the area when she got wind that her step-father had abandoned her poor mom after she'd suffered a debilitating stroke. Jeremiah flat out refused to help her out when she went to ask him to give Miranda a job at the ranch... so she takes things into her own hands and brings Miranda out to the ranch as her guest! She's determined to see her brother-in-law happy and to see her new friend put down some much needed roots at the same time.
