About the Author: Laura Reese's 18-year career in the semiconductor industry was largely spent at Altera Corporation, which is now a division of Intel Corporation. As a senior manager in the product planning department, she directed the customer advisory board program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical and electrical engineering with a business minor from the University of Southern California. In her spare time, she studied finance through Boston University and earned a certificate from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Reese founded a charity for Rohingya refugees in Malaysia, RohingyaFund.org. She now lives in Verona, Italy, with her family.
