What's a Russian uranium mine doing in Alaska? Well, that's exactly what FBI Special Agent and former Navy SEAL John Denning wants to know.
John and fellow FBI agent Jennifer Tavana are sent on a routine assignment to return a felon, George Ruddy, to Oregon for trial. Instead, Russian special forces operators confront and try to kill them.
During the confrontation, Jennifer is shot, and to save her, John is forced to drag her through icy Alaskan waters. Exhausted, they struggle to a remote beach, where they meet an old Alaskan miner, Crazy Al. With his extensive knowledge of the area, he helps them narrowly escape into an abandoned mine.
However, this is not any old mine-and it's certainly not abandoned. The mine has been converted into a full blown Russian command center, complete with a nuclear reactor. Russians, Iranians, and an assortment of international terrorists all converge on the remote mine. And no one in America has any idea what incredible danger lurks on their doorstep.
