小松原浩治は、研鑽を積んだ言語学者(UCLA)、歴史家、詩人、そして美術家である。ロサンゼルス出身で香港のルーツを持つ。東洋と西洋の感情や経験を多言語アートで表現した、『情暈鏡』は彼にとって初めての詩集。
