Nancy WaltmanNancy Waltman recently retired from a 50+ year career in the medical field where she worked as a hospital nurse, educator, researcher, and nurse practitioner. She was born on a farm in Nebraska where her great-grandparents homesteaded the land. She i fascinated by thestate's rich history. She and her husband reside in Lincoln, Nebraska.Nancy Waltman retired in 2021 and is a Professor Emeritus from the University of Nebraska College of Nursing. She has lived with her husband Lou in Lincoln, Nebraska, for over forty years. Nancy and Lou have two sons, Luke and Clint, and both sons work in the areas of information technology and computers. Although Nancy was the primary author, every member of the Waltman family helped with the research and the writing of this book. Luke and Clint served as computer and technology experts. Lou was the official driver for the trips to the Macy Reservation and to libraries, museums, and events in Omaha, Nebraska. He also took some of the photos for the book. Read More Read Less
