Kendra N KrepsKendra is a 17-year-old girl who loves writing, cooking, hiking, and athletic activities. She was born in New Jersey but has lived in Puerto Rico, Arizona, South Carolina and Florida. Kendra first found her love for writing when she was just 6 years ld. After her mom had written a book, it gave her inspiration to create her own book. She came up with some ideas and decided to honor and write about the first things she learned when she moved to Puerto Rico - colors in Spanish. When Kendra was new to Puerto Rico and went to the library to find books to help her learn Spanish, she could never find fun children's books that were in English and Spanish. That is how her first book became, Kendra Nicole's Colorful Journey in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Kendra now does public speaking and conducts interactive activities with kids in school settings, as well as book fairs and vendor events.
