John MoodyJohn Moody (May 2, 1868 – February 16, 1958) was a financial analyst, businessman, and investor from the United States. He pioneered bond rating and established Moody's Investors Service. Moody's Manuals are still published, continuing the tradition tarted by Moody's Manual of Railroads and Corporation Securities and carried on by the yearly Moody's Analyses of Investments.
