He attends and participates in worship services and with community outreach programs at is local Episcopal Church. The birth of composing poetry by the author is attributed to his daily writing assignments assigned by his American Literature high school instructor, Ms. Sharon Anderson, in Nashville, during the 1978-1979 season.
