About the Author: Dr. Ora Zohar was born in Jerusalem and educated in the U.S. She earned her doctorate in Staff Development at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and went on to found the National Center for Teaching Improvement and Staff Development at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has been involved in training educators for over six decades in many places around the world. She currently resides in Jerusalem with her husband, children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
